The Greyhounds played at home in Boerne ISD Stadium - predictably Stan Leech Stadium in about 10 years - they played another 5A District Team in the Veterans Memorial Patriots.  The first quarter ended at 14-0 - both touchdowns by Hicks - 21-10 at the half with a field goal by the Patriots in the last play of the half…and then in the 2nd half the Greyhounds just dominated - a fun win at home - final score 49-17 - the Greyhounds are now 5-3 as next week they hit the road to play McCollum - they lost to Kerrville Tivy last week 55-20.  And Alamo Heights destroyed McCollum 60-0 last night…sorry McCollum…the Greyhounds are coming up next….a game we’ll air right here on Boerne Radio.  This is where I remind you that last year the Greyhounds were 4A - this year 5A and have competed every game they lost, and when they win they win big. 

The Champion Chargers hit the road to Victoria East - they had a tough go at it down 21-3 at halftime, final score 28-10 they are 4-4 this season but 1-4 in District…they needed this one.

The Comfort Bobcats in a high scoring game with 2 touchdowns in the 1st, 2 touchdowns in the 3rd, and 2 touchdowns in the 4th…but still come up short…losing to the Thrall Tigers 61-47.   Extra credit for you if you know where Thrall Texas is. 

Geneva with huge win over Compass Rose in San Antonio - 54-0.

And lots of love to our Champion Charger Boys Water Polo Team  - coming home with hardware that says State Semifinalists earning the bronze…and just for context…that’s 2 silvers, and a bronze in the State of Texas for their first 3 years of existence.
