Finally Fall Football in Boerne Texas - your Champion Chargers hosting the MacArthur Brahmas  - the big story of the night is that they scored 5 times in less than a minute… their first play was a screen pass, endzone…they’d get the ball again, first play 75 yard bomb, endzone…and catching a couple of those bombs was 6’ tall JR. Brogan Dempsey - 3 catches for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns  - he was your Jon Wayne Player of the Game - final score Champion wins 58-13.  Next week they travel to Victoria to face Victoria East. 

Last night on Boerne Radio we aired the Boerne Greyhound game as they traveled to Victoria Texas to face Victoria West.  Hutson Hendrix was your Jon Wayne Player of the Game as he had influence on both sides of the field, but mostly on the defense.  Another high scoring game as Boerne led the entire contest and win big 50-33 in the 5A Division - next week will be a tough one…they get to play Veterans Memorial at home.

And Comfort loses a close one against Rogers 24 to 31.

In Charger Aquatics both the boys and girls compete today in the region finals - the boys take on Alamo Heights, the girls face Brennan.  Winners go to the state tournament.  Go Chargers.
