1000’s of Friends, Fans, and Family from all over the country heard that on Boerne Radio last night. 

One of the most exciting games I’ve ever heard on Boerne Radio broadcasting from the Alamodome thanks to the team of Texas Sports Productions in Bobby Sautzenberger and Esteban Serrano.

The Boerne Greyhounds scored on their first two possessions - but here was the thing about  Miller -

 Corpus Christi answered practically every time but quicker – while the Greyhounds would chew up time on a 70-yard drive, Miller on one possession scored in 2 plays.

Twice in the first half the Greyhounds were 4th and long and went for it both times, and one of them sounded like this:

  At the half, it was 30-21

But let’s just get to it - the final score was 65 to 50 - your Boerne Greyhounds are the region champs - heading to the State Semi-finals.

They will face the winner of tonights matchup of The Randle Lions from Richmond and Iowa Colony Pioneers from Iown Colony which is south of Houston. Richmond is undefeated - Iowa Colony is 12-1.  And of course whenever and wherever that matchup happens next week, we will carry it live right here on Boerne Radio! 

Eli Nikolas was the Jon Wayne Player of the game with 2 Touchdowns, 6 catches and a ton of yards.

And cheers to the fans who drove down to the school at 11:30 last night to meet the bus in the Greyhound parking lot!
