This past week with the heat kissing 100 and a pop-up afternoon shower to cool us down, both the Charger and Greyhound football teams put in good workouts in the gym and on the field at practice.  We caught the new Greyhound Coach Brett Sawyer, who’s been the defensive coordinator for the last several seasons and succeeds Che Hendrix…and he gave his take on the culture he’s creating with this Greyhound Team.

And Coach Sawyer says they’ve also hired 3 new coaches who have to figure out the inside jokes in the coaches' office, but do they care about the kids.  And finally, Coach Sawyer bragged on Boerne.

The Greyhounds will play Pieper at Home next Friday night, the Chargers will head south to Laredo to play United South.

Greyhound Tennis finished last night at around 10:30 with a 17-2 match win over O’Connor at home. Go Greyhound Tennis.
