Thursday night football to close out the regular season for the Champion Chargers- as for their opponent, the Pieper Warriors, they had nothing to lose but they wanted that undefeated season. Champion scored first with a Nathan Bell field goal, but turnovers added up and by the half it was Pieper 49-17. The end of the game was won 69-27 so it’s safe to say the hypothetical gas pedal was floored by the Warriors as they cruise into the playoffs. For Champion, you have to feel for the seniors on this roster, who all were co-captains during the toss in a pretty cool sighting. This team will be a force to reckon with in the next few years… but now we look forward to Champion Basketball starting up! #HoovesUp
