Kerry Barbosa of the Boerne Star witnessed the The Comfort Volleyball Team pull off a first round upset last night in Sonora with a three set sweep of Wall - 25-19, 25-16, and and 25-19.  Comfort advances to the 2nd round.  More details in Kerry’s article at the BoerneStar.com. 

Geneva Volleyball also in the area playoffs tonight as the welcome Rosehill Christian at 6pm, and the Geneva boys Soccer Team hits the road to face Hyde Park in Austin at 5pm.

And the regular season football games in Boerne conclude this week on First Responders Appreciation Nights  as The Champion Chargers conclude their season against Pieper at home on Thursday Night, and the Boerne Greyhounds welcome old rival Kerrville Tivy…both games start at 7…and both games can be heard on Boerne Radio 103.9FM.

Spurs fall to the Clippers 113-104… aside from Coach Pop not traveling with the team due to an undisclosed illness, Jeremy Sochan left the game with a thumb injury… but limited details are available at this point.

We’ve also learned that Dak Prescott is expected to miss “several weeks” with a hamstring injury in which he was removed from Sunday’s game in Atlanta. No word on if this will end the season for him or he should be back before the end. No word on CeeDee Lamb’s injury.
