School is out and it's hot outside- but the Boerne Little League might be hotter than that. They have clinched the sectional championship and are expected to move on to Abilene for the regional series soon! They can’t do it without your support though… Boerne, let’s help get them there. The team is a volunteer-run organization and it can be expensive. We have a link on our blog at BoerneRadio.com for you to sponsor the team. Now let’s take you over to the Big Leagues - an interesting slew of events on the 4th of July. The Astros defeated the Blue Jays (In Canada) 5-3. The Rangers, back here in the states, got defeated by the Padres yet again… 3-1 the final. A new series for both teams begins tonight and will run through Sunday - with the Rangers hosting the Rays, and the Astros crossing the border to Minnesota.
