Alright, so both Champion and Boerne High tennis teams will begin their playoff runs starting on Monday. Both teams will be in San Marcos for the bi-district round. Champion will face Leander at 2 on Monday, and Boerne High will play Liberty Hill on Tuesday at 1.

A reminder that this is the bye week for Champion and Boerne High football, so we will not carry a game here on Boerne Radio tonight… but the city will not be entirely away from football. The 3-2 Geneva Eagles head to Holy Cross in San Antonio tonight at 7. Our friends in Comfort will host Bandera in a non-district game… kickoff is at 7.

Geneva Volleyball completed a 3-set shutout of John Paul II last night to continue their incredible undefeated streak alive.

Even with the Spurs adding some new names, and the focus of developing Wemby’s skills in particular, there’s still a lot of young talent on this year’s roster. One of those young studs is Jeremy Sochan, who even after averaging nearly 12 points per contest last season, says there's still a lot to improve on.
