Ready for it or not, October is approaching and that means another Spurs season on the way- the team just released their preseason schedule yesterday. They start on October 6 at home when the Guangzhou Loong Lions come to town… they are a team from a Chinese League. They go to Miami next on the 8th, play Utah at home on the 10th, go to Indiana on the 13th, and then host Indiana on the 17th.
There are also a lot of developments from the Cowboys training camp- Jake Ferguson, tight end, got a 4-year extension over the weekend for $52 million and $30 million of those dollars are guaranteed. Micah Parsons still hasn’t reported and is yet to get an extension on his contract. Guard Rob Jones suffered a broken bone in his neck during Sunday’s practice and will keep him out 2 to 3 months. Tyler Guyton also will be missing 4-6 weeks after tearing a ligament in his knee on Monday.
And make sure you head to BoerneRadio.com and enter our spectacular staycation contest- you have the chance to win many prizes including 4 tickets to see the San Antonio Missions at the Wolff. It could be a good opportunity to get the kiddos out once again before the start of school in a few weeks.
