It was senior night for Geneva football and volleyball last night- let’s see those scores. The football team was trying their best to hang with New Braunfels Christian, but the Eagles unfortunately fell short- 48-41 the final. New Braunfels Christian Volleyball also came to town to go to work but the Eagles prevailed in the sweep, 3 sets to none.

Okay well to talk about an unofficial rivalry now, both Boerne ISD teams played for the area titles, respectively, in tennis. The Chargers beat MacArthur and the Greyhounds beat the Highlands Owls. ‘Woo?’ The owls. ‘Woo?’ The owls. The scores aren’t important, what’s important next for these two schools is bragging rights. This Tuesday at 10am, both teams will travel to the Northside Tennis center… and PLAY EACH OTHER in the regional quarterfinal. 

Charger boys water polo also won their area title-the final in that one was 21-7 against Johnson. 

And tonight here on Boerne Radio, make sure you tune in starting at 5 and we get set for the Greyhounds on the road out of a bye week, taking on Harlandale. Fired up Friday starts at 5, with Pregame at 6:30 and kickoff at 7.  After that is over, we will re-air the game between the Chargers and New Braunfels here on Boerne Radio.
