Happy game day, Boerne! Greyhounds look to mark their territory tonight in their first ever game as a 5A competitor- don’t forget we’ll have the game for you here on Boerne Radio at 6:30. Speaking of, happy centennial to the Greyhound football team, first incarnated in 1924… a big celebration at next week’s home game on Thursday against United South will mark the historic 100-year celebration.

And… Boerne Little League players returned to their respective schools this week for THEIR official first week of class and I would assume you’d be the big man on campus, girls are asking for your number, maybe an autograph or two… and you’d be allowed to sit at the big boys’ table at lunch… but my guess is nothing but humble returns for these future Astros, Rangers, and Yankees players. X was loaded with photos of students taking pictures with the boys, cheerleaders, and even mascots and teachers… They represented Boerne well and now it's time to represent in the classroom. Well done once again, gentleman, and have a great school year!
