How cool was that?! You just heard Texas Rangers 2nd-baseman Marcus Semien giving his best to the Boerne Little League team… Such a nice gesture from Mr. Semien… hey, today’s the day… Boerne Little League is in action tonight representing the Southwest… its Boerne vs. The World. They play at 6 tonight on ESPN. 

Boerne Radio was out at the Boerne High School Stadium yesterday and recorded 40 Greyhound players doing shout outs to their moms, and introducing the song that gets them fired up before the game. So get ready for the return of Fired Up Friday from a class with great taste in music, and a high level of confidence from Coach Che Hendrix.

Yes, the first scrimmage is tomorrow, and the first game will be two weeks from tonight on the road against Pieper.  A game you’ll hear right here on Boerne Radio.

Now, let’s talk about Superman himself, Stan Leech. He was inducted into the Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame, and is getting some love from his hometown of Brownfield in the panhandle. Because of his 833 wins in basketball, 12 district championships, and 27 playoff appearances… he is also in the UIL Top 100 Coaches List… but he also is in his 25th season of being Boerne ISD Athletic Director. Absolutely incredible, and here’s to 25 more, Stan!
