Flock cameras have become a source of debate across the country, with individuals either praising their ability to catch criminals or criticizing the privacy concerns. Here in Kendall County, multiple petitions have been created to remove them all together, with one garnering 1,400 signatures so far. As of now, the County has 43 cameras installed along major roadways and neighborhood entrances and are funded through the Commissioner’s court. Commissioner Richard Chapman of Precinct 3 says that any residents who want to stop the program should contact the court directly.
