This week, the Kendall County Office of Emergency Management and Fire Marshall are attending the Texas Division of Emergency Management meeting in Fort Worth.  The conference brings together professionals from all across the state to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and discuss the latest strategies in preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts. Fire Marshal Brady Constantine will also be presenting at this year's conference-he will be focused on lessons learned from recent disasters in Kendall County as the second ever Emergency coordinator. 

The Cibolo Center for Conservation is adding a new feature to their farmer’s market at the Herff farm that may pique the interest of local gardeners. On the last Saturday of each month, Farm Manager Shyann will offer a free guided tour in the teaching garden. During these sessions, you can learn about what's growing throughout the season, ask gardening questions and learn about the programs they offer.  Also the first Moondance at the Cibolo is this Saturday with Cactus Country Band.  This is the same band playing on the 4th of July at the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio.

The Spurs are playing Oklahoma City tonight with a 7:30 start - Boerne was in the house if you saw it, Shan and I were in the stands, Boerne Radio’s Roland Ruiz is also your PA announcer for the Spurs and if you saw our pictures on the Boerne Radio Facebook page, the Kendall County Honor Guard had the privilege of presenting the colors. Representatives from the Boerne Police Department, Bergheim Fire Department, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and Office of Emergency Management made us all proud.  Go Spurs Go.
