It’s Thursday November 20th. 

It was on this day in 1789 that the first of the thirteen colonies ratified the Bill of Rights. New Jersey was the first state to accept the first 10 amendments written within the U.S. constitution. At the time, there were 12 articles listed but 2 didn’t pass...and those ten fundamental freedoms of all American citizens still stand to this day. 

 If you follow Boerne Radio on Facebook or Instagram, you can see the pictures of the first Christmas Miracle in Welfare…After hosting a car show in May, the Historic Welfare Schoolhouse was looking to restore their historic landmark with a fresh coat of paint. We reached out to Boerne Paint Co. and told them the story, and they decided to give back. The work started two days ago, but they didn't just show up to paint...they replaced boards, window frames, and trim that was not on the list.

Chapman also said The Boerne Paint Company wants to spread the heart of the Hill Country and the Boerne culture to the rest of Texas by opening new paint stores in Tyler, in Katy, and also in Central San Antonio - so will it be called Tyler Paint Co. in Tyler and Katy Paint Co in Katy….No sir…Boerne Paint Company is the name. 

Those Boerne Paint workers with Covenant had to hustle yesterday to get the repair work done before the rain today…we are under a flood watch all the way thru tomorrow morning.  We could experience hail, flash flooding, and damaging winds.  Boerne residents can sign up for automatic weather alerts through the city, or you can check their Facebook page.
