It’s Tuesday November 5th. 

It was on this date in 1955 that Dr. Emmett Brown slipped and hit his head, allowing him to conceive the idea for the flux capacitor. Doc was able to make his vision a reality with the help of young Marty McFly, who was the first person to go back in time and then back to the future.

There is the old expression that talks about the calm before the storm as we had that huge storm last night but it’s election day…If you are registered to vote in Kendall County and haven’t voted yet, you can vote today at ANY polling location open within the county.  Locations include Boerne City Hall, Morningside Ministries, Bergheim Volunteer Fire Department, Kendall County Fairgrounds, Kendalia Community Center, Boerne Bible Church, Sisterdale Community Center, and Comfort Baptist Church. Polls will close today at 7pm.  

How about that rainfall last night? Because of the quick downpour, there were several low water crossings that had to be barricaded due to flash flooding that was called off until 1am including East San Antonio Rd, Rosewood Avenue and James Street. The Boerne Parks and Rec Department also closed off the pedestrian Trials at the Old No. 9, the Cibolo, and the Currey Trails.   Many gauges today are registering more than 3”inches so it’ll be fun to see another level to Cibolo Creek rise where the ducks feet don’t touch bottom.
