It’s Tuesday November 12th. 

And born on this date in 1945...With a heart of gold Neil Young is still a young-79.

For several years, Neil Young has been promoting that Willie Nelson should be honored with a Nobel Peace prize for his work with Farm Aid, and his work on alternative fuels, and world peace initiatives. 

While Boerne City Hall, the Banks, the Post Office, the Chamber of Commerce and the Parks and Rec department were all closed yesterday, the City didn’t sleep on America’s finest on Veteran’s day. In Boerne’s Veterans Plaza, American Legion and VFW members gathered to pay tribute to the men and women who served in our military. All across Boerne ISD, ceremonies were held with musical performances, speeches and the pledge. And we checked in with Veteran Mark Sierra owner of Compadres who was feeding every veteran who came thru the door, and I asked what was different this year…

They are looking for new winter clothes, both boys and girls, sizes 9m to 5T, as well as shoes size 3 to 6. Furthermore, they need any size winter coat you can find. Donations can be dropped off at their location at 439 Fabra St, or you can check out their wish list online.
