The Boerne Star reported that only 2% of Kendall County voters have cast early ballots in the May 2 general/special election so far for the 2 races.  That would be for the Boerne ISD Place 7 trustee race between incumbent Rich Sena and challenger Michael Ethridge, and the Place 6 seat for Fair Oaks Ranch City Council with Matthew Reigelsperger and incumbent Jonathan Swarek.  Early voting ends tomorrow…and again this Saturday is Election Day.

And just a reminder, early voting for the primary runoffs between Andra Wisian and J.C. Taylor for County Commissioner, and the Kendall County Judge race between Shane Stolarczyk and Ricky Gleason begins May 18, and Election Day is May 26th.

Tomorrow, the Kendall County Commissioners' Court will vote on a resolution requesting TXDOT to provide a current safety assessment on Highway 46 between I-10 and Highway 16. Records show the 10-mile tract has seen 550 total crashes with 13 fatalities over the past decade. Commissioners are asking the organization to produce a short-term safety action plan and coordinate extended plans through 2027.
