And it was on this date in 1966 that Bob Dylan crashed his Triumph motorcycle near his home in Woodstock, New York, fracturing several vertebrae in his neck. Dylan was out of the public eye for about eight years while recording with his touring group The Band featuring Robbie Robertson.
The Boerne Chamber of Commerce is hosting three ribbon cuttings on Thursday. Salty and Sweet is celebrating their 6th anniversary at 11:30, and Fair Oaks Roost will be hosting their ribbon cutting at 1:30. DeVino Cellars is also celebrating their one-year anniversary at 4:00 with live music at 5 pm.
The Kendall County Office of Emergency Management is holding a press conference this afternoon to update the public on the next steps in the flood recovery process. In addition to talking about the plan for the county, they will officially reveal the Debris Management Plan for Kendall. The meeting will be held at 4 pm at the Boerne Municipal Court on Old San Antonio Road-everyone who is curious about their strategy is invited.
