 Last night at the City Council Meeting Mr. Donnie Bergmann was honored for his 35 years of Service as the Assistant Director in the Parks and Rec Department - and announcing his retirement on December 19th…here’s what Parks and Rec Director Lissette Jimenez said first.

Programming alert:  If you can’t make the drive to Waco, Boerne Radio will be airing the Boerne Greyhound game this Friday night starting at 5:00 with Fired Up Friday where the Greyhounds play DJ with the songs that get them fired up for the game, Christmas music starts at 6 and then at 6:30 the Pre-Game Show and then at 7:00 the kickoff vs Richmond Randle who is undefeated this season…that is until Friday night…Go Greyhounds.   By the way for the record the Greyhounds were ranked 147th in the State at the beginning of the season…and now they are in the top 4.  Just saying.

If you can make the game, Boerne ISD makes it easier.  Boerne High School will be released after 3rd Period at 2:25pm so we can hit I-35 - figuring out Austin at 5:00 is every man for himself.
