The City of Boerne has posted a survey for you the citizens - it takes about 10 minutes to complete.  And after the basic questions of where do you live, do you like it, how long do you see yourself in Boerne, it asks what 2 city amenities are important to you, what are the benefits of Boerne,  questions on development and growth, mobility and infrastructure, and then rate the city on the issues you highlighted.  We have the direct link for you to take the same survey in the news blog at BeorneRadio.com.

Well they opened right before Covid started in 2019 and now they are closing.  So sorry to see Opal and Onyx Cookie Company shutting the oven doors on December 21st…so get your cookie dough and stock the freezer - and for the last 2 days is the blowout sale where all retail is 40% off, and all books will be 60% off.  The owners will be moving back to their hometown in Beaumont to start a new baking business.

And some quick hits, it’s bulky trash pick up this week, Cookies and Cocoa is this Friday at the Boerne ISD offices to drop off toys for Blue Santa, and this Saturday is Family History Day at the Genealogical Society Research Center where they help you build your family tree.  And if there are parts of your family tree you don’t want, then tie them and put them out curbside for bulky pick up.
