And although Buc-ee’s hasn’t sunk its teeth into Boerne yet, the company is making an impact here in the Hill Country after the floods. Buc-ee’s CEO, Arch “Beaver” Aplin III, donated $1 million to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country yesterday afternoon. Austin Dickinson, the CEO of the Community Foundation, says that they will now be able to put folks back in their homes and begin to restore the community.
