🎉 ICYMI: Blaine Young Joins Bob Miller to Preview a Frederick Tradition on the Morning News Express
This morning, Bob Miller welcomed Blaine Young, former President of the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners and host of The Last of the Good Ole Boys Podcast, to the Morning News Express to talk about a longtime Frederick tradition returning this weekend — the Mountain City Elks Lodge Organization Day Parade!
The annual parade, hosted by Mountain City Lodge #382 and Madame C.J. Walker Temple #509, rolls through Downtown Frederick this Sunday, August 23, beginning at 3 PM.
Young gave listeners a preview of what to expect, including marching units, local bands, dance groups, community organizations, and plenty of familiar faces celebrating a tradition that has been part of the Frederick community for generations.
The parade begins at the William Donald Schaefer Building on East All Saints Street and travels along All Saints Street toward Mountain City Lodge #382.
