Shay Mooney from Dan + Shay talks about how he grew up in Natural Dam, Arkansas which is a town of less than 500 people. He originally started as a solo artist and then met Dan at a house party. Shay talks his first deal with T Pain’s record label and how he had to get out of it to start Dan + Shay. He talks about the struggles of playing shows to 4 people to selling out arenas all across the country.
