Bobby closes out his year-by-year journey through country music in the ’90s with 1999, the final chapter of a decade that completely reshaped the genre. He looks back at Shania Twain’s incredible run, Tim McGraw continuing to climb, new stars like Brad Paisley and Keith Urban beginning to emerge, and a handful of songs that would outlive the year by decades. Along the way, Bobby shares conversations with artists about the moments that changed their careers and revisits the pop culture, technology, and unforgettable events that made 1999 feel like the end of something special. Worst No 1s

DWTS ranking

Bobby, Eddie and Brandon tackle some of music’s biggest questions. Who wins in a showdown between Garth Brooks and George Strait? Which hugely successful artists do you respect but just don’t understand the appeal of? And what artist’s biggest hit gives people the WRONG idea of how good they really are? And More! Bobby then dives into some of the most questionable songs to ever reach No. 1, and makes his case for why they belong on the list. From novelty hits and songs that haven’t aged well to a few tracks he actually admits are still pretty catchy; Bobby breaks down what worked, what didn’t, and how some of these songs became massive hits in the first place. He also shares the surprising stories behind a few of them and counts down all the way to his pick for the worst No. 1 song of all time. Plus, Bobby's current power rankings of who can win Dancing with the Stars.
