Our guest on Bob Tanem In The Garden with Edie Tanem this morning is Saxon Holt, renowned garden photographer and subject expert on "summer dry" gardening, e.g., the type we have around the San Francisco Bay Area, for the most part.  Saxon has a lot to say, and his pictures are pretty grand too!

Saxon Holt's book, Gardening in Summer-Dry Climates: Plants for a Lush Water Conscious Landscape, is out of print on Timber Press' dead trees, but is available as an eBook and often found where used books are sold.

Meanwhile, the authors' various websites are up and bursting with amazing photographs and lots of good information:

https://www.summer-dry.com - the most current of the websites

https://www.photobotanic.com - beautiful garden photography across many years

https://saxonholt.com - the authors' personal website and blog

This podcast is the on-demand playback of this mornings' live radio show; Bob Tanem In The Garden with Edie Tanem is heard live each Sunday from 9 until 10 am San Francisco time, on 810 KSFO locally and streaming live on www.ksfo.com worldwide.  This on-demand version has had musical bits and most advertising stripped out.
