Narasimha is the fourth avatar of Lord Vishnu, depicted as a powerful being with a human body and a lion’s head. He incarnated to protect his devotee Prahlada and to destroy the tyrant Hiranyakashipu, upholding dharma by appearing in a form that defied conventional categories
