Thursday, May 30: ESPN Ithaca's Community Gamechangers recognizes individuals throughout the Finger Lakes who have made an impact in our sports community.
Payton Cutting has been a great representative of Ithaca College Athletics and the softball team since beginning her career there in 2014. After her playing days, she became a volunteer coach and is now an an assistant/pitching coach. Payton devotes her time and passion not only to her team on South Hill, but to middle school and high schoolers as a strength and conditioning coach in the area.
Her nomination comes from her husband, Jeremy Flohr, who says, "Payton has bled Bomber Blue ever since she was a freshman in 2014. She also is always volunteering to work event staff at various IC sporting events and doing whatever is asked of her to help out the Bombers. Payton has not only dedicated her life to Ithaca Softball, but also other athletes in the area trying to become the best versions of themselves."
