Thursday, June 12: ESPN Ithaca's Community Gamechangers recognizes individuals throughout the Finger Lakes who have made an impact in our sports community.
Ralph Boettger has spent decades shaping student-athletes across Tompkins County - from his time as a physical education teacher in Ithaca, to serving as Dryden’s athletic director, and now in his third stint as the Lions’ head football coach. Known for his passion, leadership, and traditions like Midnight Madness, Boettger continues to make a lasting impact on and off the field.
He joins the show to reflect on a lifetime in local athletics, the evolution of high school football, and what drives him to keep giving back to the next generation.
