Zizo Apleni is the author of “My Father Took Away My Innocence;
Purified And Sanctified At Last.
She is a rape survivor, having been sexually abused by her father
from the age of 7 until 13 when she fell pregnant and went through
a miscarriage.
The book she wrote is meant to heal those who have went through
a similar experience and also encourages them to speak out.
