The South African Breastmilk Reserve plays a vital role in ensuring that vulnerable newborns have access to the nourishment they need during some of the most critical days of their lives.
Through a network of human milk banks and generous donors, the Reserve collects, screens, processes and distributes donated breast milk to premature and critically ill babies whose mothers may be unable to provide enough milk themselves.
