Talofa lava. Kia Ora. G’day. Welcome along to another beautiful day in the Bunjalung bay. Who turned the summer on?! It’s Tuesday morning so that must mean it’s Belly and that also must mean I’m Sista Rasela, and this morning I’m excited to be sharing the show with a very special guest presenter fresh from the BayFM Radio Broadcasting Course which wrapped up on Saturday to a fanfare of celebration and anticipation … the anticipation being … what comes next?!
Well for Rachy Welsh, next means sitting in on a show, this show, so I’d like to welcome Rachy to Belly this morning!
We’re going to be sharing the next two hours, getting to know more about Rachy, her thoughts and feedback on the recent 4-week presenters' course and who knows, maybe you might be inspired to do the next one once you hear her rave reviews!
I’ve also got a question for you to ponder dear listener and it’s the same question I ask all of the participants in all of the courses I teach. The question is’ If you had a radio show what would it be about and why?’ Have a think about it.
You'll hear audio recorded by some of the participants throughout the show which might give you some inspiration. In the meantime, Rachy and I have heaps of good music and good vibes to share with you.
I’ve also got a bit of sand on my feet and salt in my hair if you’d like a bit of that, or better still head down to the ocean and get some for yourself! It’s another one of those magical days we are blessed with in this part of the world we call home.
I hope you’re making the most of it and have woken up grateful for something large or small in your life. I’m grateful for the gift of community radio and the ability to share it with you dear listener wherever you’re tuning in from. Near or far, BayFM is beaming out the love!
