A preview of the meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping led Bloomberg Intelligence's Washington Policy Pulse for Sept. 21. Topics that could be discussed at the summit include artificial intelligence regulations, tariffs, the conflict with Iran and the likelihood of Chinese automobiles in the the US market. We also discussed the future of AI regulations in the US, where legislation and regulatory views seem to differ, allowing states to take their place. We also reviewed a speech from the Fed Vice Chair for Supervision on the future of rulemakings related for stress testing and bank capital.
