This is a "Shortcut" episode. It’s a shortened version of this week’s more detailed full episode, which is also available on our feed.

In 2005, German backpacker Simone Strobel was murdered in Lismore, NSW, but nobody has ever been convicted of her death.

Investigative journalist Richard Baker re-examines the case in the ABC’s Unravel: Lies in Lismore, exploring alleged confessions, unanswered questions and new revelations.

Richard Baker joins us to discuss Simone’s death and his search for answers.
