Mark Holden is a well-known Australian singer, songwriter, musician, producer, artist manager, lawyer, actor and media personality. He was voted TV Week King Of Pop in 1975 as Best New Talent and 1976 as Most Popular Talent and won the 2001 APRA Award Most Performed Australian Work for the “Shine” which he co-wrote with Vanessa Amorosi and Robert Parde. He has released 7 albums, and 3 Eps. He has 6 charting singles with the highest charting being ‘Never Gonna Fall in Love Again’, I Wanne Make You My Lady’, ‘Last Romance’ and Reach Out for the One Who Loves You’.

Mark Holden had done numerous television appearances as a pop star, especially on the ABC Countdown hosting its Silver Jubilee edition, but also was a judge for 5 seasons on Channel 10 Australian Idol and a judge on The X Factor and host of a TV series ‘Target’ and guest hosted Good Morning Australia. He also acted in TV shows such as The Young Doctors, Kath & Kim, Blues Fire Lady, Newsfront, Sea Patrol, Reach for the Stars and Case for the Defence. In 2002 he was honoured by This Is Your Life TV show.

Mark Holden as a songwriter in the USA he had hits with the Temptations Motown Records with his songs ‘Lady Soul’ and ‘Look What You Started’. He also wrote songs for Fleetwood Mac, Vanessa Amorosi, Kathy Sledge, Delta Goodrem, Belinda Carlisle, Nikki Webster, Jose Feliciano, Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, The Manhattens, Donnie Osmond, Sophie Monk, David Hasselholf, and a number of other artists recording his songs. He also produced recordings for people like Judith Durham, Milla Jovovich, David Hasselholf, Jeremy Jackson, Vanessa Amorosi.

Mark also acted in SHOUT: The Legend of the Wild One playing Lee Gordon who was Johnny O’Keefes manager and performed the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Seymour Centre. He also did a lot of radio show hosting and did radio stints on Nova FM, Vega 91.5, 891 ABC Adelaide, 774 ABC Melbourne and 3AW. Mark is also a qualified barrister of law.
