Jake Barker-Daish is a former professional Football player who fell short of his professional career goals. Having been built up to be a future Socceroo after Captaining the Young Socceroos, Winning AIS player of the year 2011 and playing over 30 A-league games, Jake's career stopped at 21. After experiencing injuries, setbacks and loss of connection to the sport, Jake was challenged with life after Football and this has provided a passion to talk about the other side of the athlete that not all people are accustomed to.

Pretty amazing way to sign off our year with Socceroo and World Cup Star, Mat Leckie. An incredible World Cup campaign which was led with some of Leckie's brilliance and of course the important goal against Denmark which sent the Socceroos into the knockout stages which we talk through. Lecks is now back in Aus and ready to soar with Melbourne City as we discuss his career to date, his return to the A-League and the recent crazy Melbourne Derby. This week I am joined by two of my best mates in Kevin Coombes and Andrew Duch as we celebrate the year that was and reflect on each other's journey throughout. It is fair to say that Bruno Fornaroli has been one of the most impactful A-League imports in our history. From his goalscoring, creativity and dominance since his arrival in 2015, Bruno has been a classic south american striker lifting fans off their seats. From Salto in Uruguay, which is renowned for the production of Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez, Bruno has managed to flourish since landing on our shores and becoming the oldest Socceroo at the age of 34 which in itself is a remarkable achievement. A very humourous, focused and classy guy.
