We Crashed a Real Helicopter! Costa Dillon - EP 01

The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes podcast is back, and now on video! Hosts Chris Cantore and Noor Razooky kick off the relaunch with Costa Dillon, co-creator of the 1978 cult classic and writer of the new film Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence.

Costa shares the real story behind the franchise: how the idea popped into his head (no drugs involved, he promises), shooting guerrilla-style around San Diego without permits, the letter from the Pentagon refusing to help, and the day they accidentally crashed a real helicopter and kept the cameras rolling. He also reveals how VHS saved the movie from disappearing, why the new film took nearly ten years to make, and how Noor was cast as Angela. Plus, Costa plays "Rename the Movie" and pitches a brand-new chilling sequel...

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence is available now to rent or buy on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and more.

You can also catch Noor as Faiza in Season 4 of For All Mankind.
