Anonymous and her husband have been together for 10 years but she says he has been unfaithful from early on in their relationship and has fathered multiple children while they’ve been together.  At some point she did leave him for his behaviour but she was persuaded by her family to take him back and he bought her a car as a symbol of his remorse.  About a year ago she met another man and she has been having an affair with this man, who she says has been lovely to her. She’s wondering if she should leave her marriage for this new guy. 

Anonymous called us last year and told us that he was secretly dating his best friend’s younger brother, and didn’t know whether he should tell his friend.  In any case, the brother found out, broke off their friendship, and the family kicked the little brother out of the house because he wanted to continue dating anonymous.  Months went by and while he was at a party in another city he ran into his ex friend and partner’s brother, they reconciled, ended up partying together, and shared a bed, at which point they had a sexual engagement.

Anonymous is a widow, and after grieving her late husband she met someone else and she’s now in a relationship with. He came into their relationship with two children, she had one child, and they now have two children together.  Her problem is how her husband seems to be going out of his way to give the mother of his children money. She says he claims the money is for the children but she’s struggling to believe him and thinks there might be something untoward happening between him and the mother of his other children.

She broke up with the married man, he got upset at her and now wants her to pay him back all the money he spent on her. 

Anonymous is a foreign national and says that actually caused issues in his relationship when he wanted to marry his South African partner, as her family were xenophobic towards him.  They eventually got married, and had a child together. After getting a new job, he met a lady at the workplace who he got involved with and even sponsored her life.

They also faced financial challenges as his partner was still in school when they started dating, he even ended up moving in with anonymous during the COVID pandemic….
