TV's Bachelor Clayton Echard says what started as one date turned into a paternity claim, hundreds of messages, and a tabloid story timed to explode his career.

He says even though he and his accuser never had intercourse, he found himself spiraling, questioning his own reality, and fighting to clear his name while the internet assumed the worst.

And the drama didn’t stop with the accusation. Clayton says when everything exploded, Bachelor Nation was nowhere to be found.
