CBS Evening News Co-Anchor John Dickerson has announced he is leaving CBS at the end of the year. After a 16 year career at the network and less than a year at the anchor desk, many are pointing to the timing of his announcement with the new leadership at CBS News. That leadership has been put in place in recent weeks following the purchase of CBS parent company Paramount by Skydance, a company run by the son of Larry Ellison, one of the world’s richest people and a good friend of Donald Trump. Is it just a personal decision, is it poor ratings, or is this the beginning of a new direction for CBS News?
