The attorneys for 50 year old Christa Pike filed an emergency order to preserve all evidence from her botched execution attempt on Wednesday night. Pike’s attorneys detail her conditions, saying she is intubated , unconscious and on a ventilator with her arms swollen, blistered and burned.  The filing alleges the medical team improperly placed the IV and both lethal doses of pentobarbital went into her body, not her veins, calling their actions “reckless” and “incompetent.”
