The prosecution spent a little more than half an hour trying to convince the jury to use their common sense and convict Brian Walshe of First Degree murder for what they call the “violent death” of his wife Ana on New Year’s Day three years ago. Just after noon ET, the jury began their deliberations and were given three options for their verdict: Guilty of first-degree murder, guilty of second-degree murder, or not guilty.
