A jury took a little more than 8 hours to convict the Hawaii anesthesiologist accused of pushing and trying to kill his wife on a steep birthday hike. 40-year-old Dr. Gerhardt Konig was convicted of attempted manslaughter but the jury spared Konig of the more serious charge of second degree attempted murder. Konig now faces up to 20 years in prison for his conviction.
