Thursday, August 13th is set to become a historic day for inmates on death row. A total of three men will be put to death in three separate states for their crimes. First up, is Anthony Darrel Hines, who was convicted for the 1985 murder of Catherine Jean Jackson Jenkins, a hotel maid working just outside of Nashville. Hines raped and stabbed Jenkins and although he turned himself into police, he maintains his innocence. The Governor of Tennessee has already rejected Hines’ request for clemency, saying after thoroughly reviewing the case, he does not plan to intervene.
