President Trump announced this afternoon that Pam Bondi is “transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector” aka, Bondi is no longer Attorney General of the United States. There was tremendous speculation in the hours leading up to Trump’s announcement, even after Bondi was seen by Trump’s side at the Supreme Court and during his primetime address to the nation on Wednesday. Insiders say it was Bondi’s handling of the Epstein files that led to her ouster, but it remains to be seen if sources are correct in revealing that current EPA secretary Lee Zeldin is next in line to fill Bondi’s shoes.
