Pippa Hudson completed her Honours degree in English at the University of Witwatersrand.

Pippa trained in radio news at Johannesburg’s ABC Ulwazi broadcasting school.

Her on-air career started in 1998 as a news reporter at Classic FM, and a year later she moved to Cape Town to join a commercial radio station where she was later promoted first to News Editor and then to Station Manager in 2003.

Pippa Hudson speaks to Richard Arm, the gardens manager at Vergelegen Estate in Somerset West, about their Camellia garden, one of just 39 such gardens worldwide, and only two in the Southern Hemisphere. The estate’s collection features more than 1,000 camellia shrubs, some dating back to the 1920s.
