The ball has been set rolling in Zimbabwe following the successful filing of nomination papers by most known political leaders including a new player, Saviour Kasukuwere, a former minister and ZANU PF commissar.
For the first time ZANU PF goes into an election divided and likely going to split its votes thereby creating room for the opposition to thrive. Despite the drama of parties nominating two or more candidates, the process was generally peaceful, countrywide ahead of the August 23 polls.
