According to a Reuters news report, Donald Trump's Senior Africa Advisor Massad Boulo, says the United States (US) of America is pushing the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda to sign a peace accord at the White House in about two months.
This will be accompanied by bilateral mineral deals that would bring billions of dollars of Western investment to the region. Rwanda and DRC are expected to submit separate drafts of a peace agreement.
