South Africa's foreign policy is under renewed scrutiny as Parliament prepares to debate the escalating crisis in the Middle East following reported strikes involving the United States, Israel and Iran.

To unpack these issues, Lulu Gaboo spoke to Benji Shulman, the Executive Director of the Middle East Africa Research Institute (MEARI).
