The theme for this week's World Water Week is, Water for Climate Action, focusing on the emergencies of climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental degradation while emphasizing climate mitigation and climate adaptation and resilience.
The Week covers every aspect of water - from freshwater to the seas and oceans, while linking to the UN's 2025 theme of glaciers and the cryosphere and recognizing oceans as vital parts of the hydrological cycle, linking water and climate.
